**Job Description**:
Site Acquisition and Environmental Design (SAED) Manager. This role has a leading and coordinating function in the rollout of a national wireless mobile network including providing technical input, making decisions on acquisition issues and management of external SAED contractors. The SAED Manager will support the Customer Project Manager in driving the acquisition of sites in accordance with the deployment rollout schedule
Outline of Key Responsibilities:
- Lead line-by-line reviews with contractors and internal stakeholders and hold parties responsible for their deliverables.
- Drive for outcomes, explore all possibilities to keep the site(s) on track.
- Own the sites, be on top of every site in the allocation, be across the status and issues.
- Effectively manage changes, manage site movements (in and out of the monthly target) against forecast, and obtain Project Manager’s approval on the changes.
- Liaise with contractors to provide an acquirable, technically strong and buildable site to the customer.
- Manage cost variations, including obtaining approval from the customer.
- Control data integrity - ensure accurate information in all database, drive contractor to capture and record information precisely.
- Oversee and approve documentation for design of the site.
- Manage workflow of acquisition from site selection to final acceptance.
- First Time Right - hold responsible parties to quality standards.
- Attend weekly project meetings to report on deliverables and KPIs.
- Assist in resolving defects during acquisition, construction and installation of sites.
- Escalate promptly as required, following the project escalation path.
Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
- Ericsson portfolio knowledge
- A demonstrated financial acumen.
- Local industry and standards knowledge.
- Turn-key wireless network rollout.
