Our founder and CEO, Cameron Barrie, an app developer himself, originally started the company in his living room. 10 years later we now have offices in Sydney and Melbourne and a growing team of 60+. Over the years we’ve partnered with some of Australia's leading brands to deliver innovative and human based digital solutions.

About the opportunity:
The role of the UI/UX Product Designer (Mid) is to support and deliver user-centric design solutions for your team, your client and Bilue.

About you:
Skills & Responsibilities:
Leadership Development
- Friendly and approachable, you seek to build relationships with the client, your team and wider project stakeholders through your professionalism and punctuality
- With guidance and support from leadership, develop and drive a commercial consulting mindset through understanding client contractual obligations and enhancing the clients return on investment (ROI)
- Take the initiative towards managing your workload, demonstrating an ability to navigate shifting priorities and focus efforts towards successful outcomes for your teams and clients
- You welcome opportunities for participation & collaboration

Advocacy Development
- Starting to establish a network of design and commercial contacts through LinkedIn and other networks / communities
- Contribute to internal promotion of Bilue through regular participation in design team events and initiatives

General Design Skills
- Research, interviews
- Mapping - information architecture, user journeys, value propositions and personas
- Ideation of solutions, in collaboration with senior staff, client and technical stakeholders
- Prototyping - low, mid and high fidelity clickable prototypes
- User testing
- User Interface design
- Solid baseline understanding of principles in both UX and UI design
- Be curious and open to questioning the customer and product journey. You will consider suggesting improvements in ways of working or deliverables to others on the project where you feel value can be enhanced
- Take pride in the work we deliver as a company and play an active role in maintaining quality
- Work collaboratively and build relationships to get the best outcomes
- Be able to be the only Bilue representative in a client team with oversight
- Demonstrate an ability and willingness to take on helpful feedback
