Advance Thinking are a boutique consultancy with a great network of clients across many industries. Currently we are looking for an Applications Manager on behalf of our Financial services client.

This role reports to the Head of Technology and has 3 direct reports.

**Your Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Work with the Head of Technology and other key stakeholders to develop and deliver the organisational IT strategic plan.
- Co-ordinating and delivering general project/programme management for technology initiatives
- Support regulatory reporting through appropriate technology solutions
- Plan for growth in the Business
- Work with the Solution Architects to determine detailed requirements
- Work with the Data Office to ensure that the Data Governance Framework is enabled
- Ensure IT staff comply with approved policies and procedures
- Assist the Head of Technology in managing budget

**The purpose of this role is to**:

- Stay up to date on technology developments related to the Superannuation industry

**Your Key Deliverables**

- Experience in project management
- Strong stakeholder management skills, people leadership skills, governance and control and change management experience.
- Assesses client needs & translates into appropriate services.
- Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Strong staff coaching and leadership skills.
- Strong communication, written, oral and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to make recommendations to business for system design and implementation
- Approval Authorities are as per Delegations Policy.
- Relevant Tertiary qualifications
