As a Modern Endpoint Management Consultant within our Modern Workplace practice, you will be responsible for the design & solutioning and technical delivery (including migration) of enterprise scale solutions based on the Microsoft Modern Workplace ecosystem.
Components of which may include:
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune & Config Manager) inclusive of Co-Management, Windows Autopilot
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
- Windows 365
- Windows 10/11, iOS, Android, macOS Endpoints
- Application Packaging & Publishing
- Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint & OneDrive)
- Active Directory & Entra ID
- Microsoft Defender (Endpoint, Identity & Office 365)
- FSLogix User Profile Containers
- Infrastructure as Code / Automation / Scripting (ARM / PowerShell)
Skills and experiences
- Knowledge & Experience of several of the following areas: Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), Microsoft Endpoint Config Manager (MECM), Desktop Transformation, Hybrid Endpoint Management, Operating System Deployment (OSD), Windows 10&11, Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) / VDI, FSLogix User Profile Containerisation, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell
- Experience with modern endpoint deployment approaches - AutoPilot, Device as a Service (DaaS) working with Hardware OEMs
- Knowledge of Evergreen practices in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Knowledge/Background Experience of other Cloud-Based VDI solutions (Citrix, VMware) beneficialKnowledge/Background Experience in cloud networking, remote access solutions, delivery optimization beneficial.
Your non-technical experience likely includes:
- Interacting with clients and help them transform their technology landscapes
- Technical and procedural documentation including design, build & operations guides.
- Working with global teams and offshore resources
- Communicating and presenting complex information to technical and non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in written form.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
About you
You are an experienced technologist and are comfortable working with a technical team with a track record of solution design & delivery.
In addition, your technical skillset likely includes:

**You’ll need to be an Australian Citizen due to project and client requirements.**
What you'll do
- Work on client projects to design, solution & execute large-scale desktop deployment, platform migration and mobile endpoint management
- Create project deliverable documentation, including design, build and operations guides
- Design and conduct systems integration testing, component integration testing.
- Partner with cross-functional technology and design teams to integrate technology, operations and solution requirements into solution designs
- Contribute knowledge and experience learnt on projects with the greater Avanade community.
- Guide and mentor less experienced colleagues
- Travel domestically as required.
- Willing to obtain Security Clearance
