This position is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring system administrator to develop new skills in automation, governance, and broader IT infrastructure management. You'll collaborate with our IT teams to contribute to the development of IT policies and ensure our systems are efficient, reliable, aligned with industry best practices and compliant with regulations like SOC2, HIPAA and GDPR.

**What you will do**
- Use Defender for Endpoint to monitor and respond to security threats.
- Manage identity and access through Microsoft Entra, including Conditional Access and secure app onboarding.
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support, addressing endpoint, identity, and access issues via the ticketing system.
- Contribute to the development of IT policies (e.g., acceptable use, backup, security standards).
- Collaborate with IT/SecOps teams to ensure systems align with compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).
**Is this you?**
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- 0-2 years of experience in IT technical support or administration.
- Internships, projects, or coursework in cybersecurity or IT governance are a plus.

- Skills & Competencies_
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Entra.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Additionally, exposure to GRC frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA) familiarity with automation tools or scripting will be highly regarded.
