**The opportunity - 3D Artist**

This position is seen as a pivotal role in emerging 3D capacity of the studio working on a range of projects including design and visual effects for television commercials, film titles, content projects, promos, and AR/VR and experiential interactive formats.

You will be joining a highly creative environment in our team. We continue to push the boundaries of the industry - creating and designing the unbuilt reality through relationships with the environment and a strong focus on storytelling.

**A snapshot of what you'll do -**
- Take a creative brief from a conceptual idea into development.
- Create 3D digital artwork and further develop your skills as a generalist designer in the 3D area becoming competent in lighting, texturing, rigging, rendering, camera, and increasingly in pipeline process and particle and liquid simulations.
- Strong technical knowledge and experience using Maya and Adobe Creative Cloud esp AfterFX.
- Working with the Creative Director and the 2D team to deliver compelling 3D visuals.

**SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be comfortable and become increasingly confident working directly with directors, agency creatives and clients.
- Able to manage and prioritise tasks time efficiently, demonstrating project management skills to potentially coordinate multiple projects.
- High standard of technical knowledge, attention to detail and quality control of outputs for 2D.
- Substantial knowledge and experience with animation tools, workflow and principles of character performance and animation (such as posing, timing, acting and storytelling techniques)

**Your ideal experience**:

- Relevant diploma or degree from a recognised college or university for a minimum of 3 years
- Strong portfolio of artwork
