Brand Artist

**Job Description**:
Ubisoft Sydney is seeking a Brand Artist for the new game, XDefiant.

You will be responsible for visually communicating the story of Ubisoft's new F2P game XDefiant, through our marketing streams and in-game content. Crafting and rendering a diverse range of high definition 2D art from 3D assets, you will be at the forefront of the brand development. We are looking for someone who is creative yet efficient, artistic but professional and above all, have a passion for gaming and a talent for visualization.

You will work closely with the Brand Director, Creative Director, Lead Artists and UX/UI lead. This position allows for full, partial or hybrid working conditions.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Help design, communicate, and maintain the brand appearance, style-guide and seasonal redesigns.
- Work with/manipulate 3D assets and capture HD renders before crafting finished art in Photoshop or Aftereffects
- Produce key-art images for a variety of marketing and in-game materials whilst meeting strict specifications
- Provide direction and support across teams for any matters pertaining to brand development.

**Qualifications**:
Core Skills
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role or, a degree in related fields.
- Outstanding professionalism with the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects or Prem Pro)
- Master of graphic design fundamentals (composition, layout, lighting, colour theory, typography)
- Experience rendering 3d assets (Maya, 3DSMax, Blender Cinema3D, Marmoset) and comping into both 2D and video

Bonus Skills
- Rigged 3D character animation, posing or lighting experience
- Illustration, digital painting, or concept art
- Creative copywriting
- Experience in Game Engines (UE5, Unity or other)
