**About us**:
Glitch Productions is an independent animation studio based in Australia making original, long form animated shows distributed on Youtube. Our channel has over 10 million subscribers, tens of millions of views per episode and is still growing strong. Our studio is filled with incredibly talented and passionate artists that are determined to change the way animation is produced and treated in the industry. Our latest IP; Digital Circus, has amassed over 300 million views on the pilot alone and we have a lot more still to come.

**Job Information**:
Glitch Productions is looking for a VFX artist who has a strong artistic and technical eye for solving problems and achieving visual effects for our 3D animated shows. This role will see you working heavily in Unreal Engine and Houdini to create simulation effects that will be used throughout our shows.

**Your duties will include**:

- Generating and implementing particle FX.
- Creating blood and fluid alembics in Houdini and implementing that into Unreal Engine.
- Developing and implementing destruction simulations.
- Implementing VFX in Unreal Engine using the Sequencer tools.
- Enhancing and maximising visual aesthetics of shots in UE5.
- Designing HDA's / tools for other artists to use and help automate workflows.
- Understanding and experience in creating VFX in UE5 and Houdini.
- Strong experience and understanding of Unreal Engine 5.
- Strong understanding of fundamental lighting and camera principles and optimising for a game engine.
- Basic experience with 3D modeling/animation software (e.g Maya).
- Self-motivated with the capability to work and solve problems with mínimal assistance.
- Highly organized with the ability to adhere to production schedules
- Well developed communication skills and strong work ethic.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Desire to work within a team environment, fostering knowledge exchange and collective development.

**Bonus Skills**
- Experience creating static and motion graphics.
- Experience with 3D animation.
- Experience with Maya.
- Experience with VEX and Python languages.
