**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Payroll + Admin Officer to join our thriving team in Brisbane. Supported by 3 others in Accounts, and as part of the wider team of 15 staff providing national support across Finance, Graphics, Marketing, People + Culture and Studio Administration, this main purpose of this role is to oversee the payroll function of the organisation - processing end-to-end fortnightly payroll, setting up and inducting new employees and supporting payroll function improvements.

We envisage the payroll responsibilities to cover 2 days per week, with 1 remaining day per week to assist with the general running and administration of the Studio - a wonderful opportunity to become highly involved at all levels, and play an integral role in ensuring everything runs smoothly.

Reporting to the National Finance Manager, this is a part time role, ideally 3 days per week (of your choice, although we process payroll every second Monday) and we encourage a Hybrid Working Model, with a mixture of Working From Home days and in the Studio days offered.

Our Brisbane studio is in the creative heart of Brisbane just off James Street in Fortitude Valley. With close access to trains and buses as well as an onsite shower you can also ride, run or skate to work with ease. The team in Brisbane are a fun-loving, tight-knit group, and you would be welcomed warmly into the fold.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and regularly update new and existing employee records, including security type, billings tables, forecasting and leave resourcing
- Process fortnightly payroll using MYOB and Deltek Vantagepoint, including staff expense reimbursement and payment of internal consultants
- Reconcile and arrange payment of superannuation, payroll tax and PAYG monthly
- Complete end of year payroll reporting including reconciliations for: payroll tax; PAYG tax; Workcover and superannuation
- Administer employee records, entitlements, and update/changes to employment contracts within the system
- Induct and train new employees on Gray Puksand payroll processes and functions
- Ensure payroll reflects any state or government changes
- Improve payroll processing and effective utilisation of the system which may include working closely with the Finance Manager to support a system change

**About you**:
We are looking for a passionate and driven individual who want to be part of a growing company. You must have more than 3 years’ experience in end-to-end payroll and experience in MYOB would be advantageous, although not required. You will be supporting Gray Puksand on a national scale, so a collaborative attitude and team player mentality are imperative
