**The Role**
This is a permanent full-time opportunity for you to become an integral member of the Risk & Training team at Morcare.
Reporting to the General Manager Risk & Training, the successful applicant will take a pro-active role in the ongoing identification and resolution of risk and safety related matters arising from the operations of our support workers.
You will use your comprehensive OH&S and risk management experience to coordinate the administration and reporting responsibilities of this role, while taking the lead on fire safety and on the OH&S committee. Furthermore, your digital literacy and team first attitude will support the training team to facilitate the successful OH&S related online learning of our employees.
OH&S / Risk Management or training administration experience and relevant qualifications are required for this role.
Experience in the Community Services sector would also be highly regarded.

**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Identifying trends and risk related concerns in operations arising from issues registers, incident report forms and after-hours reports.
- Ensuring OH&S related administrative instruments are maintained in accordance with quality protocols.
- Preparation of draft executive reports for monthly leadership group evaluation, quarterly OH&S and annual report meetings.
- Assuming responsibilities as designed OH&S Chairperson, and Fire Safety Warden.
- Ownership of Workgroup Risk Management activities including emergency evacuation risk assessments and client program risk and training assessments.
- Administration of data in Excel for key training registers.
- Managing basic Learning Management System (LMS) access challenges for learners incl. basic troubleshooting and one-to-one learner support.
- Collaborating with team members to improve systems, practices and administrative instruments related to risk and safety.
- Working with the GMRT on projects and initiatives as required.

**Preferred Skills**
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
- Numeracy, spreadsheet & data interrogation skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in community services sector, and similar OH&S/risk roles.
- High level of computer skills, including sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- A strong eye for detail and accuracy.
- Well organised and priority focussed, to allow for competing demands.
