We have a fantastic opportunity for you to come and join our CUB commercial sales team working across our largest customer, Endeavour Group (EG), partnering with its retail banners BWS & Dan Murphy’s. Over the last 18 months the team has worked closely with EG to deliver instore and online specials for our customers, which included the exclusive launch of ‘Fruity Beer’, The Big Green Button, VB’s ‘Solar Exchange’ initiative and more. As the Promotional Account Executive, you will be responsible for the end-to-end promotional administration support for the Endeavour Group account, including managing the execution & administration of promotional plans within CUB’s promotional administration system (Promax). Additionally, you will also have accountability for optimising promotional programs using tools such as Complexica, supporting the broader account team with data and insights to inform business plans, and executing team priorities.
Key Accountabilities:
- Maintain a 6-month planning horizon on the input of promotional plan into ProMax; allowing visibility of an internal and external P&L; expected price, activity type, discounts, straight money, etc.
- Update promotional plans (12 weeks out) once confirmation is received from the banner merchandise teams; confirmed price points, discounts and/or straight money.
- Input of promotions into PMR (12 weeks out); price, activity type, discounts, straight money and any instore executional notes.
- Management, in conjunction with the National Account Managers, of the internal slotting boards for BWS and Dan Murphy’s.
- Management, in conjunction with the National Account Executive, of the PET files.
- Leverage Qliksense and Complexica tools to optimize banner promotional plans to drive increased volume and/or profitability for both CUB and the banners
- Analyse data and draw insights to inform supporting NAMs with decision making with regards to plan optimisation
**About you**:
We are looking for someone who has ambitions to grow their career within the sales space. You have a commercial mindset and willingness to learn and proficient in Microsoft suite. With a supportive and collaborative team, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow within your new role.
Additionally:
- Tertiary qualified preferred
- Exposure to a highly transactional sales environment
- Demonstrated high level of communication with both internal and external stakeholders
