The Opportunity

Due to growth, we have opportunities to work in our Long Term Income Protection team. We offer comprehensive training and a genuine opportunity to build a long-term career in Insurance Claims.

To do this successfully you will:
Proactively manage a portfolio of income protection claims
- Provide support to the team through the management of a high volume of income protection claims (reviewed and assigned by the Team Leader prior to allocation), processing payments and providing regular status updates to members
- Ensure that members are paid the appropriate rate and within set timeframes
- Ensure all claims are reviewed and strategy signed off by a Senior Assessor
- Engage with appropriate parties such as Senior Assessors or rehabilitation to ensure sustainable return to work outcomes are facilitated and expected recovery times are understood
- Previous claims assessing ideal
- Insurance experience
- Maintaining quality stakeholder management/relationships
- Customer First Approach
