**Your new role**
- Process and code invoices accurately, ensuring appropriate approval and supporting documentation
- Review and verify expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Prepare and perform payment runs, including checks, electronic transfers, and other payment methods
- Reconcile statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships with vendors
- Collaborate with internal departments to address invoice discrepancies or payment issues
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions
- Manage the Accounts Payable inbox
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to accounts payable

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Officer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, practices, and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
