**Allied Health Assistant - Paediatric Occupational Therapy**:

Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their development? Do you thrive in a collaborative and playful environment? We are looking for a warm, motivated, and reliable **Allied Health Assistant (AHA)** to join our growing paediatric occupational therapy team.

**About the Role**
As an Allied Health Assistant, you will work closely with Occupational Therapists to deliver high-quality support to children and their families. Your role will involve:

- Facilitating therapy sessions under the guidance and supervision of an Occupational Therapist
- Supporting children with engaging, goal-directed activities in both individual and small group settings
- Assisting with administrative duties, including answering phone calls, scheduling, and preparing therapy materials
- Helping to maintain a warm, welcoming, and organised therapy space
- Collaborating with the therapy team to ensure children and families feel supported and understood

**Who We’re Looking For**
We are seeking someone who:

- Enjoys working with children and families in a fun, hands-on environment
- Is enthusiastic, compassionate, and eager to learn
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Can manage time and tasks efficiently, including both therapy and admin responsibilities
- Works well both independently and as part of a team

**Qualifications & Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you must be:

- Currently studying Occupational Therapy (3rd or 4th year) **OR**:

- Hold a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance (HLT43021)
- Hold a current Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- Willing to undergo NDIS Worker Screening (or already cleared)
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred but not essential
