**What you'll be doing**:
An exciting opportunity for a Mental Health Clinician to join a wonderful and dedicated team of clinicians on a permanent full time basis, located at Penrith Community Health Centre.

Your role will be to provide comprehensive clinical mental health services to people with a mental illness or mental disorder that is least intrusive, collaborative, recovery oriented, nominated carer and family responsive and inclusive, rehabilitative, encourages self-advocacy, facilitates empowerment and capacity for optimal independent function and utilises evidence-based practice interventions.

Selection criteria to be addressed:

- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing and including eligibility for membership of relevant professional body &/or full registration (if applicable) with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with mental illness.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007 and Mental Health Amendment (Statutory Review) Act 2014.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
- Computer competence and literacy.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
