- We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Communication with medical staff, (both onsite and off-site) with Hospitals, Doctors, Nursing Homes and Government Bodies
- Answering enquiries over the phone, coordinating courier and medical centre collections, pathology results assistance
- General administration duties
- Maintain customer confidentiality
- Liaise with laboratory staff
- Achieving Departmental KPIs
- Ability to understand and ensure compliance with WHS policies and guidelines
**About you**
- To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
- Sound typing/data entry skills (approximately 50 wpm with 98% accuracy)
- Previous experience or knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels of an organisation
- A willingness to adhere to departmental and organisational policies and procedures
- Must be a cohesive and contributing member of the team and display positive attitudes towards achieving outcomes
- Strong time management, interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure and as part of a team- Enjoys a fast-paced working environment
- Has a willingness to learn
- High level of attention to detail
- A professional attitude towards confidentially
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong customer focus and general office skills
