A Local Council need an Operation Supervisor | Temp Position | Good Salary & Team Culture| Amazing Opportunity

**Your new company**
Moonee Valley City Council have an exciting temporary opportunity for an operation Supervisor to plan and prepare for the smooth operation of a new Hub located in Flemington.

Temporary Position | Local Government | $38.13/ hour minimum | Full time | Monday to Friday

**Your new role**
You will need to develop the venue operations, OH&S and risk management processes and procedures and ensure that upon opening that everything is a thriving for a high-quality community venue.
Duties will include:

- Lead the investigation of booking systems that have the capacity for financial reporting, as well as providing a professional user interface
- Benchmark, review and finalise booking fees for the use of the facility’s various spaces
- Review opening hours for the venue that meet the needs of the community, while also maximising efficiency for Council
- Develop rostering and FTE requirements within defined budgets to support the operational needs of the hub
- Work with partners and internal staff to develop a governance structure that will guide the operations of the hub to achieve strategic outcomes.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience managing a multipurpose community hub or similar venue, or equivalent commercial facility, including the day to day operations, user group agreements and budget oversight.
- Ability to write policies, process maps and reports, relevant to the operations of a community or commercial facility
- Ability to strategically plan for operations that achieve strategic outcomes
- Ability to strategically manage budgets including accurate forecasting
- Being bale to provide a Working with Children check and a Police check
