Communications Officer

Davidson is proud to partner with one of the most competent and highly regarded arms of the Queensland Government. We are looking for a results-driven Communications Officer.
**About the Role**
The communications Officer will deliver and distribute the annual report. Inclusive of drafting, editing, proof reading, coordinating input from different business units and distributing the report as well as undertaking general communications activities as part of a small communications and engagement team.
**About You**
- Strong coordination and compliance skills to manage the annual report requirements guidelines for Queensland Government
- Publication management experience, including working with a graphic designer and ensuring PDF files are accessible
- Current working knowledge of plain English and the Style Manual
- Demonstrated experience ensuring consistency of content from multiple authors across a publication
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to rapidly build rapport and engage with internal stakeholders
- Proactive team player committed to adding value
- Ability to work autonomously
- Eye for detail
- The role is 7.25 hours per day (36.25 hours per week) based in the Brisbane CBD. There may be some flexibility to work from home up to two days per week, however, there will be times during busy periods of the production cycle that will require five days per week in the office._
