- What role you will play?In this role, you’ll partner with Commodities and Global Markets teams to ensure that Technology Risk is managed effectively, in line with Macquarie’s Operational Risk Management Frameworks and associated policies to drive a strong, proactive risk culture.
You will work collaboratively with the Technology team and senior business stakeholders to identify operational issues and control breakdowns and advise on proposed remediation actions, as well as drive the conversation on incident investigation to identify root causes, conduct controls assurance/ deep-dive reviews, and risk workshops. You will also use data analytics and process mining tools to automate control testing, and oversee, review and challenge risk in change activities and influence a good risk outcome.
- What you offer- Technology expertise with operational risk management, assurance or analytics experience, ideally from a professional services environment
- Ability to think laterally, problem solve and grasp abstract concepts
- Ability to build relationships across multiple areas and disciplines
- Capability to initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues
- Recent experience in assessing Public Cloud deployments (IaaS and PaaS) is advantageous
- Experience in Institutional Banking or Financial Markets is advantageous.
