Procurement Agent

Pace have exclusively partnered with a multi-national designer, manufacturer and leader within the industrial sector, on the look-out for experienced and driven procurement professionals to join their operation in Melbourne's Inner Suburbs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the procurement process for goods and services, including developing sourcing strategies, evaluating bids and proposals, and negotiating contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement procurement policies and procedures
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance, and resolve issues as needed
- Analyze procurement data to identify cost savings opportunities and improve procurement processes
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Conduct supplier evaluations and make recommendations for supplier selection
**Requirements**:
- 3+ years of experience in procurement and contract management
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices
- Experience with contract drafting, review, and negotiation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
- Interest and availability to work and commit to a 12 month contract
