Melbourne, Australia Pace Appointments Full time

Pace have exclusively partnered with a multi-national designer, manufacturer and leader within the industrial sector, on the look-out for experienced and driven procurement professionals to join their operation in Melbourne's Inner Suburbs.

You will be joining a structured contracts and procurement team, and will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Contract negotiation & supply chain management
- Raising PO's and liaising with suppliers
- Drive cost efficiencies
- Category strategy development
- Internal stakeholder management - engage stakeholders during contract negotiation
- Work closely with legal department on T&C’s
- Full contract lifecycle of procurement
- Tendering
- Negotiation of claims

In order to be considered for this role you will need:

- Strong internal stakeholder engagement
- Financial and legal experience advantageous
- Procurement experience across manufacturing essential
- Strong systems and solutions focus
- Interest and availability to work and commit to a 12 month contract
