Job Expectations

The nbn Location Data & Operations Management team fulfils a critical role in enabling customers to easily identify addresses, ensure right first-time connections and prevent erroneous disconnections through accurate location, address & boundary data management. The Managed Services & Strategy function is a critical component enabling the delivery of a positive activation experience to our end customers.

A bit about your role

The Service Operations Manager is accountable for the direct engagement with business stakeholders who are seeking to deliver critical business outcomes. You will be accountable to accurately interpret the critical business outcomes required and translate these outcomes into operational services, whilst supporting the Service Delivery Manager with the strategic implementation and operationalisation of these services within the Location Data & Operations

Management portfolio.

You will be accountable and responsible for establishing the specific service requirements including the definition of all success criteria, KPIs, governance and operational reporting required to demonstrate service performance. There will also be a focus on leading specific programs of work as the key representative of the wider Operations (OPS) division. These programs of work are critical in enabling nbn to become a brilliant wholesaler and as such will require you to project manage and operationalise new processes where required to ensure the success of these specific programs.

A bit about you

To be successful in this role you must have an in-depth understanding of the Location Data & Operations Management portfolio, demonstrated experience in establishing new operational service streams end to end and have successfully identified and implemented multiple process improvements and wide-scale data improvements, whilst working with key stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes.

Ideally, we are looking for demonstrated experience analytical and conceptual skills, including the capacity to think and act strategically. Translating a large volume of discrete data into a logical output that provides important decision-making metrics. Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal is a must for performing within this position.
