**Principal Strategy & Planning Advisor**.

**Position Overview**:
The Principal Strategy and Planning Advisor is responsible for providing support for prioritisation and evaluation activities to the Manager Strategy and Planning. The Principal Strategy and Planning Advisor will partner with their allocated divisions to understand and regularly re-assess the respective organisational requirements and opportunities. This role also ensures the ongoing flow of data and information between the relevant teams, with a focus on being able to communicate ideas, proposals and analysis results / reports clearly and effectively, both digitally and verbally.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identifies key business opportunities and requirements for the allocated divisions.
- Prepares business cases to obtain sign off on priority requirements.
- Coordinates stakeholder management with other Strategy and Planning Analysts, ensuring alignment across the business with the Strategic Plan.
- Gathers intel from the business teams to enable the delivery of collective Strategy and Planning insights and advice.
- Drives the successful adoption of strategic initiatives using effective change management processes.
- Manages the transition of change in the business, working with managers to embed changes within the business.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a relevant field (commerce and strategic/business planning etc), or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in strategy planning, business planning, and execution.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing business plans/strategic plans with associated reporting of relevant metrics for mid to large scale organisations.
**Technical, Professional and Specialist Skills**:
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and influencing.
- Proven advanced verbal and written communication skills including report writing and ability to write business cases.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work cooperatively with others at all levels and to operate on a consultative basis.
- Highly developed conceptual and analytical skills.
- Highly developed presentation and communication skills.
- Broad business experience to understand and deliver to business outcomes.
- Highly developed organisational ability including success in managing numerous and complex actions to deadlines.
