**Who we are**

The Information Services Division (ISD) is responsible for the smooth delivery and support of core ICT services to The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) and a range of Shared Services partners.

**What you will do**

The Project Officer will:

- Provide support to the Project and Delivery Manager, and team of technical resources to achieve the highest possible standards to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and confidence.
- Manage competing priorities, anticipate and meet the needs of stakeholders, and show initiative to improve work practices.
- Assist in uncovering stakeholders’ requirements and being able to translate this to developers.
- Undertake ICT Procurement, draft corporate documentation and funding proposals.
- Contribute to the support function that the team provides to our users including gathering feedback and ideas for future system enhancements.
- Provide strong people skills and the ability to engage authentically with stakeholders on complex business and ICT issues.
- Document and maintain support procedures, technical articles and knowledge base articles

**What you will bring**
- Highly developed customer service skills, based off experience within customer focused ICT environments.
- Working collaboratively and operating as an effective team member.
- Communicating clearly, by confidently presenting messages in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to anticipate and respond to client and stakeholders needs and expectations
- Resilience, organisation and the ability to manage competing, time-sensitive work and requests.
- Ability to foster strong stakeholder relationships within PM&C and with other federal government agencies
- Able to confidently deal with stakeholder requests and concerns in a measured and calm manner.
- Understand the capabilities of the Department’s strategic technology platforms and how they interrelate.
- Respect and awareness for diversity.
- Project management and business analysis experience is desired.
