**The Role**
The Future Air Mobility Systems Program Office (FAMSPO) Commercial and Contracting Team is looking for our next Contract Support Officer as the previous incumbent has been promoted in our team In this development role, you will work on multiple platforms at various stages of their Capability Life Cycle.
You will assist with procurement planning, tendering, and contract formation activities across the breadth of FAMSPO, ensuring compliance with legislation, procurement policies, processes and procedures. You will also provide support to the management and maintenance of FAMSPO current contracts, including Contract Change Proposals, Contract deliverable reviews and processing of contract invoices.
**About our Team**
FAMSPO is an acquisition System Program Office, within the Capability Acquisition & Sustainment Group (CASG) delivering air mobility capabilities to support combat, humanitarian, diplomatic and peace-keeping operations. Under the Force Structure Plan 2020, the Australian Government plans to invest up to $50 billion to strengthen the ADF’s air mobility capability over the next 20 years.
FAMSPO’s current project suite includes:
- Delivering capabilities to support the operation of the C-27J as a light tactical fixed wing aircraft that can conduct humanitarian missions.
- Air Mobility Capability Assurance Project (AMCAP) - a programmatic approach to deliver capability assurance to the ADF Air Mobility platforms, addressing emerging capability gaps by delivering upgrades and enhancements as required across the Air Mobility fleet.
- Providing project support to Heavy Airlift Systems Program Office (HALSPO) to ensure the ongoing provision of Defence’s air transport service for Government.
- Replace and expand the current medium air mobility fleet.
