**_Detox Nurse Coordinator WANTED_**
If you are a
**Registered Nurse with experience in Alcohol and Drugs** - we want to hear from you
**Duties**:
- Provides assessments, intake and screening services, treatment planning, daily individual counselling and
client monitoring
- Effectively manage clients on waiting list, referral, assessment, admission and support services to all clients, clients’ families and significant others entering and participating in the GRSI detoxification programs
- Monitor and resolve any client issues as they arise, including warnings and dismissal processes.
- Ensure medication management system is being followed according to program and agency procedures
- Administering drugs, medications, treatments, inoculations, and tests as allowed by law.
- Implementing verbal Detox Physician orders and authenticating in writing, within a reasonable time, and included in the patient record.
- Communicating with counsellors, support workers, and pharmacists
- Identifies children most at risk of developmental delay and/or poor
**Requirements**:
- Current Registration with the** Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency** as a Registered Nurse
- **Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Nursing/Mental health)**:
- Demonstrated** experience within the Alcohol and Other Drug sector in clinical leadership and management.**:
- Current knowledge and commitment to** Equal Opportunity in all aspects of employment and service delivery**
**Desirable**:
- Understanding of the Aboriginal people and culture of the Goldfields region
- Experience working with Substance Abuse, mental health and detoxification clients
