**Job Description**:
This is your chance to join our Maintenance Team in the role of Assistant Maintenance Manager. This role is responsible in assisting the Chief Engineer with the managing and coordinating of all aspects of the Engineering department in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.

**Tasks include but are not limited to**:

- Carrying out preventive maintenance throughout the hotel to ensure standards are maintained for guest comfort.
- Inventory and order control for all supplies required by the department.
- Managing contractor inductions and keep & maintain the records on the data base.
- Liaising closely with other departments in order to manage any maintenance related issues in a timely manner.
- Ensuring all regulations involving electrical standards, OH&S standards and safe working practices are followed.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**:

- A strong leader with previous maintenance or engineering experience to take ownership of the maintenance department in the absence of the Chief Engineer
- The ability to be a team player with a flexible approach to leading the Maintenance team
- A comprehensive financial understanding of managing a profitable operation, and familiarity with WHS legislation compliance would be advantageous
- A capacity to take initiative and coordinate multiple tasks or projects simultaneously while maintaining a preventative maintenance schedule will be highly regarded
