**About You**
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation based in Toongabbie. The NDIS Office Administration & Support officer's primary purpose is to ensure a smooth internal support process across all business areas, including but not limited to administration and other duties.
You will be the first point of contact for all customers and stakeholders. This role is expected to provide administration support, office coordination, and support.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assist NDIS participants in coordinating their services and supports.
- Complete all necessary administration to the required standard, ensuring full compliance.
- Maintain and develop relationships with non-government bodies and disability associations/groups.
- Ensure that support responses focus on participant goals and objectives.
- Provide expert advice and consultation to NDIS participants and their families on the changing NDIS environment.
- Deliver services and support with a high level of customer service.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements.
- Rostering / Scheduling of Staff - Shift Care
- Managing house calendars - appointments
- Assist with new client referrals and ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Meeting and engaging with new clients to explain what NDIS services Caring Approach can provide.
- Developing new service agreements and gathering required intake information and documents to ensure a safe service is provided and meets the wants and needs to the person who have engaged us to support them.
- Maintaining client files.
- Provides efficient secretarial support, such as making appointments.
- Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing, and faxing.
**What you'll need to succeed**
**To succeed in this role, you will need to have**:
- Experience working with people with a disability and their support networks.
- Demonstrated experience in providing support using enablement and strength-based approach.
- Sound understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
- High level of both verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrate a high level of computer literacy and skills.
- Strong writing skills are essential
- Proven experience in record keeping including an ability to maintain confidential information.
- Knowledge of “Reasonable and Necessary” criteria and a working knowledge of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be accustomed to working in an environment where meeting Key Performance Indicators form part of your role.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field and/or relevant experience within the industry.
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers license.
- Support Coordination Experience is preferred.
- Must have at least two years experience in a relevant field.
- Must have full working rights.
- Must have Working with children check & police clearance check
**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual. Will consider permanent full time in future.
Pay: $33.00 - $38.00 per hour including Super
