**About the role**

CatholicCare Diocese of Broken Bay is seeking a Caseworker to provide effective case management/coordination services to clients of our Domestic and Family Violence teams to deliver therapeutic outcomes, build client capabilities, drive, and promote change.

The role will require travel to client homes located in the Central Coast region.

This is a max-term full-time position of 9 months with the possibility of extension.

**Duties**
- Provide case management/coordination to support clients in remaining separated from a violent partner.
- Provide information, support, and safety planning.
- Provide timely intake, triage, and support utilising brief crisis intervention strategies.

**Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area (e.g.: Social Work, Welfare, Psychology, Health etc).
- Experience or extensive knowledge in all areas in Domestic and Family Violence or related specialist area such as mental health, homelessness or drug and alcohol.
- Understanding of domestic violence, its complexities, and consequences.
- Demonstrated networking and advocacy skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to manage crisis or safety situations and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of and an ability to work effectively with Police, Courts, Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistant Scheme, and interpreter services.
- A Working with Children Check and Criminal History Check.
- A NSW Driver’s Licence and insured vehicle.
