**About the role**

The MST-CAN Case Worker will provide casework support to family members who are engaged with MST- CAN Therapists, providing practical assistance for families and to MST-CAN Therapists. This is a permanent full time position.

**Duties**
- Promote a 'risk-aware' culture where staff proactively identify, report and address all forms of risk to clients, staff and CatholicCare.
- Provide an environment that is safe for children, young people and adults, free from harm and promoting staff commitment to safeguarding.
- Adherence to MST-Can administrative and practice principles, maintaining clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts which promote peer and supervisory review and feedback and that demonstrate compliance to the nine MST principles and Analytic process.
- Assist MST therapists in the implementation of problem conceptualisation, treatment planning, intervention implementation (including drug and alcohol screening and safety checks) outcome review and strategy revision procedure using the MST Analytic Process.

**Skills & experience**
- Tertiary qualifications in a Social Work, Psychology, or related areas
- Extensive knowledge in child development, parenting skills, safety planning and ROSH reporting
- An understanding of the culture and strengths of families within the MST-CAN population
- Must have experience working as a Case Worker
- Current NSW Driver’s Licence
