About the role:

Are you passionate about supporting women and children to live free from violence and abuse?

We're looking for a dedicated and experienced Caseworker to join our Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) team, providing life-changing support to families across the Central Coast.

This is a parental leave cover until April 2026, working full-time hours (or 4 days per week will also be considered for someone looking for flexibility). This role is based in Tuggerah and we utilise a best practise model to deliver therapeutic outcomes, build client capabilities and safety, drive and promote change.

What You'll Do:

  • Deliver high-quality case management to women and children impacted by domestic and family violence.
  • Provide practical and emotional support, including safety audits, planning, advocacy, and education.
  • Facilitate group sessions focused on family education and empowerment.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders including NSW Police, DCJ, NSW Health, and local community groups.
  • Maintain professional records and uphold privacy, child protection, and Safer Pathway obligations.

What You'll Bring:

  • A tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years' experience in case management, specifically supporting victims of domestic violence.
  • Solid understanding of Child Protection and DFV legislation.
  • Experience in parenting programs and group facilitation.
  • Strong advocacy skills and the ability to navigate complex, high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to provide strong and respectful advocacy in situations of high pressure and competing agendas.
  • A NSW Driver's Licence and insured vehicle.
