An excellent opportunity now exists for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team for a 12-month fixed term

**Description**:
The role

As the Accounts Payable Officer, you will ensure accurate processing of accounts payable for the Dymocks Group. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will complete the processing of accounts payable and reconciliation of creditor statements. You will also be responsible for:

- Ensuring all invoices and credit notes are processed accurately in the general ledger system
- Completing complex reconciliations monthly, keeping outstanding items to a minimum
- Ensuring supplier payments are drawn and paid within payment terms
- Ensuring processing procedures are adhered to and follow up all discrepancies
- run aged creditors ledger at month end and review all creditors outside terms

**Skills and Experiences**:
**The successful applicant will have**:

- Minimum 3 years previous Accounts Payable experience
- Experience processing large volumes of invoices
- Excellent computer skills, including advanced Excel skills
- Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience essential
- Experience with Yardi and Concur preferred
- Highly organised with excellent ability to reconcile complex supplier reconciliations
- High attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a focused team
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
