**We are GATHERING the team**

A newly created role for a detail-oriented **Bookkeeper** with exceptional communication skills has become available to support the business financial operations.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, and either based in Brisbane or the Sunshine Coast, enjoy a part time work arrangement working 9am to 3pm, and 3 to 4 days per week depending on schedules. You will play a vital role in maintaining smooth financial operations, managing Australian payroll, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, and providing crucial remote support to the sales team throughout QLD.

**You will be trusted with**:

- Overseeing payroll for 7 employees using Xero, ensuring accuracy and providing support
- Managing bookkeeping using Xero for invoicing, payments, and reconciliations
- Implementing credit control for timely collections managing vendor relationships
- Efficiently handling accounts payable and receivable
- Establishing organised financial record-keeping with Xero
- Liaising with Customer Accounts for follow-up and support
- Providing admin support, including order processing and inventory management
- Utilising Xero for precise financial reporting in collaboration with the sales team, and the business Accountant
- Communicating with customers, ensuring a positive experience and addressing inquiries

**What you bring**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in Australian payroll processing, financial management, bookkeeping, and sales team administration using Xero
- Familiarity with Xero accounting software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
