ofi's Truganina-based Almond Processing facility contributes to processing our 12,000 ha of almonds representing 45% of Australia’s crop and 4% of the world’s almonds supply. We manage the full supply chain from production, processing through to logistics, trading and export.

As a critical member of the team, the purpose of this role is to supervise and coordinate all business activities in the Western Melbourne Plant (WMP) Warehouse and Day store dispatch areas to ensure production and shipping requirements are met.

**Reporting to the Operations Manager, in this role you could contribute to and manage a wide range of accountabilities including**:

- Managing the receipt, storage, inspection, testing, and documentation of imported materials in accordance with biosecurity orders under the Biosecurity Act.
- Coordinating import logistics, including container scheduling, goods receipting, and management of contract labour for unloading and inspection activities.
- Liaising with third-party logistics providers (3PL) to minimise container detention times and avoid futile charges.
- Performing export clearance duties as an Authorised Officer (AO), ensuring compliance with export regulations.
- Planning and managing the export of containers, including scheduling product movements from internal sites and coordinating with 3PL.

- Overseeing all warehouse operations including the accurate receipt, documentation, storage, and inventory maintenance of goods.
- Conduct daily inspections of warehouse facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness.
- Managing and resolve customer service requests promptly and professionally.
- Ensuring the SAP Warehouse Management System (WMS) is functioning effectively, and all open Transfer Requirements (TRs) and Transfer Orders (TOs) are closed in a timely manner.
- Ensuring truck bookings are completed through SAP and ensure the Dispatch Release Program is produced and shared with relevant stakeholders. Align batch dispatch based on priority and truck availability.
- Maintaining and updating purchase orders, pricing, and inventory records. Identify and resolve vendor invoice and purchase order issues prior to final invoice processing
- Managing truck movements within the site to prioritise activities, minimise truck wait times, and reduce futile charges.
- Ensuring all labour hire staff receive appropriate training, providing ad hoc support and guidance as needed.
- Supervising daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with procedures.
- Managing third-party contractors involved in warehouse operations as required.
- Supporting all staff in adhering to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Monitoring, evaluating, and reporting on warehouse productivity and operational performance.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health, safety, and maintenance standards.
- Maintaining accurate records and prepare necessary documentation for internal and regulatory reporting.
- Monitoring inventory levels.
- Developing and implementing inventory management strategies to ensure accuracy.
- Conducting regular stock checks.
- Generating and reviewing SAP reports, identify discrepancies, troubleshoot anomalies, and escalate unresolved issues.
- Correcting data variances and provide support for ongoing inventory accuracy.
- Managing stock count and reconciliation of CHEP, ofi, and other pallets used onsite.
- Extensive SAP (especially Warehouse Module) and MS Excel systems experience.
- Experience in data management and analysis.
- Proven capability in fault finding and ensuring data integrity, along with strong problem-solving and people skills, excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A passion for numbers, details and analysis of data with strong time management, and troubleshooting skills with the ability to multitask and communicate with all stakeholders.
- Approved Officer Accreditation for Grains is desirable.
