**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Management Level
**FUNCTION**: Supply Chain
**SALARY RANGE**:AUD 130,000 - AUD 150,000 + Superannuation + corporate market bonus
**LOCATION**:Sydney, Australia
**ROLE TYPE**: Permanent
**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**
The Supply Planning Manager is responsible for overseeing the supply planning function. Of focus is the design and governance of stock build management scenarios and inventory management activities.
The success of the role will be demonstrated by ensuring consistent and optimal supply to meet customer demand, while ensuring inventory levels are appropriately managed. The team will work closely with the regional supply planning hub to be successful.
**Reports to**:Supply Chain Manager
**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Responsible for the supply planning function and the design & governance of stock build management scenarios and inventory management activities.
- Accountable for finished good end market elements of supply planning to ensure the delivery of the right product to the right warehouse on time and in full.
- Build, communicates and monitors effective stock build plans to regional counterparts that have been aligned with AU stakeholders
- Identify and resolves day to day supply problems, issues or concerns and ensure potential supply issues are mitigated or communicated appropriately with in the business.
- Works hand in hand with the demand team to understand impacts of Demand on supply& vice versa.
- Establish close working relationships with regional supply planning hub to build a good collaborative working environment and to ensure supply Plans are execute and customer service targets are maximised for AU. Developing a partnership with Above Market stakeholders will be a critical enabler to success of supply planning management.
- Liaise with the NPI team to provide supply input in relation to new brand launches
- Establish close internal working relationships in order that other areas of the business understand the role Supply Planning plays in the overall business.
- Build a strong, mutually supportive, and sustainable team that delivers a high performing Supply planning capability in Australia.
**CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**
- Do you have a good experience in supply chain management?
**CRUCIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- Tertiary Qualifications in Supply Chain Management or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of supply chain management experience within an international environment and managing customer relationship and supply management process
- Strong leadership skills, presence and impact, excellent customer engagement skills
- Ability to influence at various levels and in a matrix organisation
- Rational decision-making skills at various level
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen
