**Your why**

You’ll be someone who loves picking up a camera and creating things that gets people’s attention. Working within a social studio, you’ll collaborate with creative and production to come up with and execute interesting and engaging campaigns and social content. You look to push yourself and the team for a way to make everything we create more interesting.

You’re always keen to experiment with different techniques, whether it’s through stop motion, match-cutting, hyperlapse, timelapse or VFX. You won’t be stuck shooting talking head testimonials, we want someone to come in and have a whole lot of fun putting together content people want to watch. You might also already be a freelance creator, so you can make this a part-time role if you want to keep creating your own projects.

Note: Full time or Part-time 3 days per week is a possible option for this role.

**How you will spend your time**

Working with the Creative Director you will:

- Be responsible for shooting, editing and grading social-first video content
- Work closely with a producer to develop work on brief and within deadline.
- Contribute to brainstorms and creative sessions, bringing new concepts and shooting techniques
- Set up the gear, sound and lighting required for shoots, directing talent and crew if required
- Work closely with a team of designers to implement different designs and supers to assets

**What you will bring**

In taking on this role you’ll:

- Have 2+ years of experience shooting and editing great social content.
- Be a Premiere Pro expert, ideally also with an advanced knowledge of After Effects
- Have the confidence to direct shoots where needed.
- Have a great portfolio or showreel of your work
- Be an open and transparent communicator - you’ll leave no question unasked and always look for opportunities to grow
