The role in a nutshell
Based at Rostrata Primary School OSHClub, have fun at work while you assist in leading a team of experienced Educators, providing creative activities and adventurous games to young children, some with additional needs.
This exciting opportunity covers afterschool care hours (2:00 pm - 5:30 pm) Monday to Friday.
This permanent part-time role is open to those experienced in working with children, confident in their ability to lead and progressing their career in OSHC.
What to expect
Assist in planning and delivery of activities based on the children's interest and your own skills
Teamwork to create interesting and varied program's
Food preparation, paperwork, reporting and light cleaning duties.
Assisting children with a variety of additional needs, being mentored by expert educators in the field.
About you
Commitment to our company values and philosophy
Cert III (CHC30121) or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care, Cert III (CHC30221) or IV Education Support, Cert III (10983NAT) or IV Outside School Hours Care (All desirable)
Degree or diploma in education, recreation, sport science, leisure studies, social and behavioral science or nursing (All desirable)
Availability in the afternoons, Monday to Friday.
The ability to pass a National Police Check
Experience with children with additional needs is beneficial.
Must hold a Working with Children's Card and Drivers License
