How you will make an impact:
By joining our team as a Dietitian Grade 2, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the health and well-being of our patients. Your expertise in nutrition and dietetics will play a crucial role in developing personalized dietary plans, providing education and counselling, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.

The Grade 2 Dietitian will work independently and demonstrate a specialist level of knowledge in clinical areas, including critical care (ICU) and gastrointestinal surgery.

Cabrini provides a seven day dietetic service and we are looking for clinicians who are keen to work our weekend and public holiday service, which operates for 4 hours on both Saturday, Sunday & on public holidays.

Key responsibilities:
- Assessing patients' nutritional needs and developing appropriate dietary plans- Providing education and counseling to patients and their families on nutrition and lifestyle changes- Collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care- Participating in research and quality improvement initiatives- Keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in nutrition and dietetics

About you

As a Dietitian Grade 2 at Cabrini, you will have a passion for helping others and a strong knowledge of nutrition and dietetics. You will be a proactive and empathetic communicator, able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

You must have:
- Well consolidated post-graduate experience in the acute healthcare setting across a range of clinical areas (min 3 years)- Demonstrated consolidated clinical experience in critical care (ICU) and gastrointestinal surgery- Hold a Masters of Dietetics.- Dietitians Australia member and have Accredited Practicing Dietitian status.- Leadership experience in a specialised area of clinical practice within a healthcare setting.- Proven expertise in evidence-based clinical practices, innovation, and commitment to professional development and research.
