The role Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Management, you will provide timely and well-researched strategic advice to senior management in the Reform Office Queensland Health and to the Minister for Health. You will also provide expert level advice and direction to Queensland Health divisions, state-wide clinical networks, Hospital and Health Services and other stakeholders. In addition, you will oversee, formulate and manage the development and implementation of appropriate of the reform agenda monitoring, at a strategic and inter-agency level.
You will lead and manage consultation processes in development information that informs the reform agenda. You will also prepare and review high-level briefing documents, submissions, correspondence, and reports.
The successful personYou will have strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in managing teams and leading portfolio and/or projects. In addition, you will have proven project management skills including the capability to develop, implement, analyse, and evaluate policy and program-related projects. You will also have excellent written and oral communication, consultation, and negotiation skills and a proven track record in engaging with a broad range of stakeholders across a range of sectors.
