Logistics Supervisor

We are currently working with one of Australia’s largest dynamic delivery providers, who deliver chilled, frozen and ambient product to households, retail stores and warehouses Australia-wide.

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on **Logistics Supervisor** that can hit the ground running and help the business go through this exciting growth stage.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Active coordination of all things outside the DC - Deliveries / Drivers
- Daily Driver shift allocation based on driver performance and even fleet utilisation
- Daily Cost, quality and capacity management of respective contractor/driver pool - continuous improvement
- Compliance: in line with company standards & contractor SLA - run the onboarding, training, recruitment & retention of local contractors and drivers as well as fines and performance-based shift allocation
- Daily management of Contractors/Drivers
- Close cooperation with Routing team members as well as DC to ensure smooth load out, dispatch and deliveries
- Investigating error causes end to end and driving a resolution across departments
- Key local relationship holder of a culturally diverse contractor base
- Execution of Driver incentives & fines program
- Responsible for the Delivery quality of that state
- Ability to liaise with key stakeholders, and get along and communicate with a diverse range of personalities and cultural differences.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet agreed deadlines.
- Able to pick up new concepts quickly.
- The ability to come up with creative solutions to get around any problem.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Energy, enthusiasm and positive attitude with a desire to progress.
- Self-motivated and uses initiative for process improvements.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
