We're looking for a fun and energetic Café All Rounder to join our team in our Alexandria Café Team.

Part time position available with fixed shifts and no evening shifts

The Gig
- Always give excellent customer service & exceed guest expectations
- Ensure the Sonoma standard is maintained in food service & preparing coffee
- Serve customers efficiently
- Give advice, guidance & recommendations on products to our guests
- Assist in preparation of display counters before, during & at the end of service.
- Managing queues & meeting customer expectations, upsell to maximize profit.
- Keep areas tidy & clean
- Work as part of a team and provide backup to other team members

- Experience working in a fast paced environment
- Flexible availability including weekends and public holidays
- Hard working & enthusiastic attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Friendly demeanor always even under pressure
- Great memory (remembering the names and orders of our regulars is imperative)
- Excellent standards of personal presentation smart appearance and articulate.
- Need to be willing to learn, take instruction and work under own initiative, supporting other team members and able to multitask.
- Love coffee, bread and food
- Keen eye for detail & cleanliness

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Barista: 1 year (preferred)
- cafe all rounder: 2 years (preferred)

- Australia (required)
