**Female Disability Support Worker - High Needs Participant**:

- Location: Dandenong, VIC_

We are currently seeking a **compassionate, experienced, and reliable Female Disability Support Worker** to support a participant with complex physical, neurological, and mental health needs in the Dandenong area.

**Participant Overview**:
The participant is living with multiple complex diagnoses including:

- Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
- Psychogenic Non-Epileptic Seizures (PNES)
- Schizoaffective Disorder
- Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety & Panic Disorder
- Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
- Complex PTSD (C-PTSD)
- Diabetes

She:

- Uses a wheelchair and has **mobility issues**, putting her at **high risk of falls**:

- Experiences **25-30 seizures per day**, with some requiring medical intervention
- Has **speech difficulties** and is at **high risk of choking**:

- Requires **daily personal care support** and assistance with **community access**

**Essential Requirements**:

- **Female support workers only** (due to participant’s personal preference)
- Proven experience in **complex personal care**:

- **Strong manual handling** and mobility support skills
- Knowledge and implementation of **Behaviour Support Plans** and **restrictive practices**:

- High-level **empathy, patience, and compassion**:

- Ability to remain calm and responsive during **seizure events**:

- First Aid and CPR (seizure management training is a plus)
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check

**Desirable**:

- **Nursing background or nursing experience**:

- Experience working with clients with neurological or psychiatric conditions
