**Livingston GPs is looking for a Medical Receptionist to join our team**

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Receptionist to join our growing healthcare team. You will collaborate with doctors and other staff to provide exceptional experiences for our patients. Experience is preferred but not necessary as we can offer on the job training.

**Medical Receptionist duties and responsibilities**:

- Answering calls politely and in a timely manner.
- Greeting patients and ensuring they are checked in.
- Booking, cancelling, and rearranging appointments.
- Registering new patients and updating existing patient details.
- Private and Medicare billing of patients.
- Maintaining a tidy reception area.
- Maintaining stock of stationery and forms.

**Medical Receptionist requirements**:

- Excellent phone manner and people skills.
- Well organised.
- Able to prioritise.
- Works well under pressure.
- Discretion when handling sensitive information.
- The ability to cover sick and holiday leave as required.
