We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller based in Sydney who is looking for the next step to progress their career in Finance.

The role is located in Rydalmere, which is part of the Parramatta council area of Sydney. With free parking on site and a short bus ride away from Parramatta train station, it is an ideal location to work.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Credit & Collections Manager you will be responsible for managing a section of our ledgers, managing credit risk, and assisting our offshore team to resolve issues with customers. To be successful in this role you will have a can-do attitude and an ability to delivery excellent service to our customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maximise Collections on the ledger via monthly targets and minimise the level of overdue debt.
- Conduct account reconciliations to assist both internal and external customers.
- Liaise with our Offshore team as required to maximise collections and improve customer satisfaction.
- Provide reports and maintain collection performance statistics as required.
Prepare statements to be given to credit departments and banks.

**About You**
- Australian Citizenship or Australian Permanent Resident
- Minimum 2 years of Credit and / or Collections experience in a manufacturing or service related organisation
- Experience with ERP systems (Hyperion and/or Pronto an advantage
- Intermediate MS Office skills
- A proven track record of success in a credit collections role, preferably in a service industry
- Knowledge of Credit and collection processes (mandatory)
- Knowledge of the legal collection process (preferred)
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in office full time Monday to Friday (some ad hoc flexibility will be offered)
- Prior experience working with a large multinational organisation (preferred)
- Ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and a National Police Check
