**Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives?**

**Do you have a desire to work in the healthcare industry and to provide valuable support to individuals in need?**

This position will commence as a Part Time opportunity (minimum of 16 hours) whilst you develop personal relationships with clients - hours will then transition to Full Time hours.

**Duties may include but are not limited to**:

- Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals in maintaining a clean and safe living environment.
- Provide companionship and engage in social activities with clients.
- Help individuals with meal preparation and nutritional support.
- Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental conditions to the appropriate personnel.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual care plans.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience and the ability to show compassion and positivity.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to set professional boundaries with clients and other staff members.
- Must be a proven team player and are compliant with following directions.
- Ability to cope with complex clients - training is provided that is specific to the individual client needs on a regular basis.

**Essential requirements**:

- Driver’s license and reliable transport
- Ability to provide a National Police Check
- Able to obtain a Blue/Yellow Card

Please note, to be eligible, you must be an Australian citizen, Permanent resident, or hold a valid visa that allows you to work and undertake training in Australia.
