Pearl Home Care Brisbane North is a small but experienced, family-owned community service provider that offers the best in professional and affordable in-home aged and disability care.

We are currently seeking multiple experienced and committed Home Care Workers travelling to clients’ homes within the **Brisbane North, BRIBIE, CABOOLTURE** region working alongside our clients enhancing their health/well-being and enabling them to stay in their own homes. You will need to be friendly, positive, and determined to make a difference. You need to demonstrate client-focused behaviour, showing empathy, and treating others with dignity and respect. You’ll be a natural relationship builder, honest, helpful, and dependable, making you a great asset to our team.

**Carer Services**

Duties will include personal care requiring manual handling, domestic assistance, social support, meal preparation, medication assistance and transportation. Experience with Dementia and Mental Health will be advantageous.

**Role Essentials**:

- A passion for assisting the elderly to remain independent in their own homes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certificate III in Aged Care (desired for Carer services)
- Current Certificates in First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
- Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willing to undertake training, including hoists and assisting with medications
- Eligibility to work in Australia

**Preferred Skills**
- Medication Competency preferred
- Experience working with Aged and persons with a disability.

Pay: $37.00 - $43.00 per year
