**About the role**

Reporting to the Senior Executive, Investor Relations the Head of Investor relations will play a key leadership role in the Investor Relations function within Medibank. In this newly created position you will provide leadership, guidance, project management and other support as required in conducting the activities of the Investor Relations function, with a particular focus on Medibank’s financial performance.

Our investor relations team supports the Board, Executive Leadership Team and Senior Executives in presenting Medibank to investors through the preparation of various materials, while also sharing investor feedback through share price and register analysis, analyst reports, perception studies, consensus and direct shareholder feedback.

**Your impact**

The Head of Investor Relations will drive insights and analysis, effectively plan and project manage external deliverables. Key to this role is stakeholder management, including effective relationships with the investment community - with a particular focus on Medibank’s financial performance.

This will include:

- Project management and production of key external investor events and deliverables such as results announcements, investor roadshows, conferences, and other major events
- Driving insights and detailed analysis to identify how Medibank’s performance compares to industry and local and international peers, both historically and prospectively
- Establishing meaningful relationships with the investment community, representing Medibank where appropriate

**About you**

You’re an experienced investor relations or corporate finance leader, with experience in an ASX listed company environment. You will have:

- Proven experience in driving business results through the effective leadership and inspiration of a high performing team
- Very strong analytical and research ability
- Technical knowledge and experience relating to Corporate Finance
- Excellent presentation and communication skills both written and oral with a focus on detail
- Proven strong relationship building skills and the ability to interact with and influence senior management (including the Chairman, the Board, CEO, CFO & Executive Leadership Team) across the organisation and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to demonstrate initiative to drive and lead cross company initiatives
