**ABOUT THE ROLE**

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated self-starter to oversee the day to day operations of SHCS Share Houses (SIL). This is a part-time position where we are seeking Team Leader who is engaging and can motivated their team to provide direct supports to participants with complex and multiple needs.

This position will generally be required to:

- Provide hands on support to your team of Disability Support Workers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the Houses.
- Provide supervision, mentoring and support to employees
- Monitor the ongoing documentation of all participant paperwork in the houses and escalating where required
- Provide first level support in the resolution of client complaints and grievances and escalating where required
- Provide first level support to resolve all employee queries including complaints, grievances, poor behavior's, poor performance and conduct for your team of direct reports
- Manage the Incident Reporting Process for the house, including conducting investigations and recommending corrective action
- Ensure the implementation and maintenance of participant care plans in accordance with the advice from appropriate allied health professionals
- Ensuring appointments and team meetings are being taken place to ensure quality remains stable.
- Report to your Management for any concerns that you may come across
- Liaise with case workers and allied health when needed.
- Ensure all appointments are recorded and attended

**ABOUT YOU**

To be successful in this role, you would ideally have:

- Minimum Cert IV in Individual Support and/or Mental Health or similar
- Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
- Time management skills
- Bright and engaging personality with professional communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to be a part of new and exciting change management processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to problem solve on the fly
- Current WWCC
- NDIS Worker Check
- Current Australian Drivers License with access to registered and insured motor vehicle
- Be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (3 doses) OR hold an appropriate medical exemption

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $34.00 - $38.00 per hour

**Education**:

- Graduate Certificate / Graduate Diploma (preferred)

- Team management: 1 year (required)

- Full Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (required)
- First Aid Certification (required)
