We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cash Management Officer. Our Corporate Trust business is a leading provider of fiduciary and digital solutions to the banking and financial services industry in Australia and Singapore. It administers securitisation portfolios, investment and debt structures to protect the interests of our clients’ investors. Corporate Trust supports clients locally and overseas with a unique offering through five key service offerings: Debt Market Services; Managed Fund Services; Perpetual Asia (headquartered in Singapore); Perpetual Digital, and Laminar Capital.

Following the completion of a comprehensive Strategic Review in May 2024, it was announced that Perpetual Limited will become a standalone Asset Management business and has entered into an agreement with an affiliate of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR) who will acquire the Corporate Trust and Wealth Management businesses.

About the role

As a Cash Managements Officer at Perpetual Corporate Trust, you will be responsible for processing and verifying a high volume of manual and automated payments/trades on a daily basis using Austraclear/Euroclear on more than 20 banking platforms.- Responding to client enquiries- Liquidity management- Processing high-volume and high-value payments including RTGS, domestic, international, BPAY, corporate actions and bank cheque requests- Trade settlements via Austraclear and Euroclear (security set ups, and settlement)- Payment query and return of funds management- FX and Term Deposit execution- Ensure the validity and accuracy of settlement documentation and approvals- Meet internal and external deadlines for payments and transactions.

About you- Demonstrated experience in a payment processing- Experience with International, RTGS, DE and BPAY payments- Knowledge of SWIFT/ Austraclear and Euroclear- Ability to effectively prioritise, manage deadlines and understand new processes- Experience working in high volume, fast paced operations environment- Reconciliation knowledge an advantage- Understanding of AML/KYC and sanctions processes- Good knowledge and understanding of financial markets and the Financial Services Industry- Customer service and relationship management skills- Basic understanding of Corporate Trustee business an advantage
