**Technology Consultant**
TechAbility is a growing technology consulting business that specialises in providing services for NDIS and Aged Care Providers, Community and Not for Profit Organisations. We are looking for a self-motivated Technology Consultant to join our growing team. This role is interesting and varied and you will be helping organisations to solve Technology challenges; liaising with clients, vendors and partners; managing and delivering high quality Technology projects; ensuring that our clients are getting the most out of their Technology investments.
**About Us**
At TechAbility, we strive to respond to the needs of our clients through innovation and exceptional levels of service. We pride ourselves on the relationships that we have built with our clients as we take them through their digital journey.
We work with any size of business - from sole traders and small businesses, to growing enterprises and large organisations. We have incredible clients who do amazing work for the community all around Australia, and we gain great work satisfaction from helping these organisations.
**Our Vision** is that technology is used to its full potential by organisations that support people in the community.
**Our Mission** is to be known for providing the best advice to help our clients and their communities to make better technology decisions.
**Our Values**
- _Compassion_ - We care about our clients and the communities they support.
- _Teamwork_ - We are collaborative and build open and meaningful relationships with our clients to ensure we achieve the best outcome.
- _Respect_ - We value everyone and treat people with dignity and honesty.
- Integrity - We provide independent and unbiased advice to deliver the best solutions for our clients.
- _Excellence_ - We take pride in our work and strive to exceed our clients’ expectations.
- _Agility_ - We adapt and evolve to solve new problems and improve the way we deliver our services.
Our clients have a lot of unique problems to solve so we need to be versatile and adapt to the needs of each client. This means that our technology consultants need to have a diverse skillset across a range of business functions, systems, tools and frameworks, and be open to learning new things.
This role will be focused on delivering our most popular services - IT Strategy Reviews, Software Advisory Services and Software Implementation Services.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build relationships and become a trusted advisor to your clients.
- Understand the client’s needs and opportunities for improvement through detailed discussions with the client and research and data collection.
- Consider and outline the scope of the work and develop the proposal including project plan and schedule.
- Proactively identify and resolve any risks that may impair our clients or ourselves from meeting goals.
- Support the development and growth of the TechAbility business by taking ownership of your clients and promoting new products and services.
- You have at least 5 years’ experience as a Technology Consultant, or a Business Analyst or Project Manager in software projects.
- You have a working knowledge of IT infrastructure, hardware, software and governance.
- You have experience managing client and vendor relationships.
- You can learn quickly and have strong analytical skills.
- You have a strong track record of delivering tasks on-time and on-budget.
- You have some exposure to Community or Not for Profit organisations - experience in the Disability (NDIS) sector specifically would be highly valued but not essential.
- You take ownership of your projects, and you can work independently and productively with little to no supervision.
- You are comfortable working mostly solo on projects, but you can collaborate with other team members as well.
- You are a driven, highly dedicated, reliable and versatile person who enjoys problem solving and who gets satisfaction from getting things done and achieving the mission.
- You are passionate about helping community organisations and making a meaningful difference to your clients and team.
**Hours and Work Arrangements**
Being a start-up delivering mostly project-based work, we do experience fluctuating and unpredictable workloads. This role will require your flexibility and patience regarding hours as we grow the business. We expect this role will initially be around 20 hours per week and may grow to full time within 6-12 months. We are flexible to accommodate the hours you would prefer to work, and we can add other team members as needed.
Currently all of our team members work from home and work the hours that suit them and their lifestyle and family - as long as you are delivering your work and meeting the client’s needs, we don’t mind when or where you work. There may be occasional travel to client sites, but this is quite rare. Our team does catch up in person a few times per year, and for those who like going into an of
